Dr. Cara Jones brings a research-informed and analytical perspective to Pico Ripple Foundation, helping connect promising ideas with the structure, resources, and evidence needed to grow them thoughtfully.

Her background spans research, evaluation, and interdisciplinary work, with an interest in how ideas can move from exploration into meaningful practice. At Pico Ripple, Cara supports the foundation’s approach to grants, financial stewardship, and evaluation while contributing to broader conversations about how small initiatives can develop responsibly and sustainably.

She is especially interested in ensuring that Pico Ripple remains curious and experimental while also asking important questions: What are we learning? Who benefits? What evidence are we seeing? And what is worth carrying forward?

Cara holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Florida and a B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas.
